Particle Ratios in a Multicomponent Nonideal Hadron Resonance Gas

چکیده

We have considered formation of a multicomponent nonideal hot and dense gas hadronic resonances in the ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions. In statistical thermal model approach, equation state (EoS) noninteracting ideal hadron resonance (IHRG) does not incorporate either attractive part or short-range repulsive baryonic interaction. On other hand, (NIHRG) model, we can these interactions using van der Waals (VDW) type approach. Studies been made to see its effect on critical parameters quark-hadron phase transition. However, it also lead modifications calculated relative particle yields. this paper, attempted understand such Waals-type yields studied their dependences system’s parameters, as temperature baryon chemical potential μ B . taken into account decay contributions heavier resonances. These results ratios are compared with corresponding obtained from point-like, i.e., IHRG model. It is found that get modified by incorporating interactions, especially baryon-rich system which expected be formed at lower RHIC energies, SPS forthcoming CBM experiments due high degree nuclear stopping experiments.

Stabilizing Hadron Resonance Gas Models against Future Discoveries

We examine the stability of hadron resonance gas models by extending them to take care of undiscovered resonances through the Hagedorn formula. We find that the influence of unknown resonances on thermodynamics is large but bounded. Hadron resonance gases may be internally consistent up to a temperature higher than the cross over temperature in QCD; but by examining quark number susceptibilitie...

Antiparticle to particle ratios and identified hadron spectra in Cu+Cu and Au+Au collisions

New results on antiparticle to particle ratios in Cu+Cu and Au+Au collisions at √ s NN = 62.4 and 200 GeV from the PHOBOS experiment at RHIC are presented. Transverse momentum spectra of pions, kaons, protons and antiprotons from Au+Au collisions at √ s NN = 62.4 GeV close to mid-rapidity are also discussed. Antiparticle to particle ratios are found to be remarkably independent of the collision...

Medium modification of two-particle scattering in nonideal Bose systems

Medium modification of scattering properties in interacting Bose systems are considered by solving the Bethe-Salpeter equation. An equation of state for the normal phase (generalized Beth-Uhlenbeck formula) is given using the in-medium phase shifts to include two-particle correlations. Conclusions are drawn for systems of bosonic atoms with repulsive interaction such as sodium Na and rubidium R...

An Effective Iterative Algorithm for Modeling of Multicomponent Gas Separation in a Countercurrent Membrane Permeator

A model is developed for separation of multicomponent gas mixtures in a countercurrent hollow fiber membrane module. While the model’s solution in countercurrent module usually involves in a time consuming iterative procedure, a proper initial guess is proposed for beginning the calculation and a simple procedure is introduced for correcting the guesses, hereby the CPU time is decreased ess...
